My 15 yr. old son got his 5th turkey with your 16 gauge 1 1/4 oz. Tungsten Matrix. The 20 lb. tom came in to about 35 yards and my son killed him with one clean shot to the head and neck of the bird using his Ithaca pump. This bird was killed on Cheyenne Bottoms in KS, which is a non-toxic shot only area. Many geese and cranes have been killed with the same load and even a banded specks was taken last year with the 1 1/16 oz. # 5 of the Tungsten Matrix. We call our waterfowl in close most of the time, but we shot a few past the 40 yard mark with our 16g.
